Meet Local Author John R. Stanard at the Poplar Bluff Library!

Join us Saturday, July 25, from 1:00–5:00 PM at the Poplar Bluff Library Main Branch for a special book signing with award-winning writer and lifelong outdoorsman John R. Stanard.

Discover The Lake House: How Rich Boyhood Memories Inspired a Life in Conservation, a heartwarming memoir that celebrates childhood adventures, family, and the natural world. Through stories of summers spent with his grandparents in the Missouri wilderness, Stanard shares how a simple upbringing shaped a lifelong passion for conservation. Featuring more than 70 beautiful illustrations by Rose Anne Stanard, the book also explores important conservation topics that continue to impact our region today.

Whether you're a nature lover, history enthusiast, or simply enjoy a good story, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet the author, have your book signed, and learn more about the inspiration behind his work.
